Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Kat Edmonson is a singer and composer whose work spans jazz, folk, pop, and the traditions of the Great American Songbook.

A Songwriters Hall of Fame award-winning artist "with an equal foothold in jazz, cabaret and vintage cosmopolitanism pop" (The New York Times), Kat has earned numerous number one albums on the Billboard Jazz Albums chart, has appeared on Austin City Limits, Tiny Desk Concerts, A Prairie Home Companion, The Tonight Show and The Late Show, has performed at venues and festivals around the world including Carnegie Hall, the Montreux Jazz Festival, and the Blue Note in Japan.

This year, Kat Edmonson returns with a dazzling new chapter in her celebrated career: the November 6, 2026 release of her latest album, “Have Your Merry Christmas With Me”, followed by a nationwide tour beginning Thanksgiving and continuing through the end of December.
