Los Desechos doesn’t just play Cumbias—they raise the dead with "Cumbias Levantamuertos." Their music is for everyone: the tía and tío who know all the dance moves, the neighbor whose speakers blast it across the block, the car cruising down East Austin bumping them, and you—ready to hit the dance floor. They’re not just a band—they’re part of the cultural fabric of the community
Los Desechos has shared the stage with Sonora Dinamita, Sonido Gallo Negro, El Combo Oscuro, Money Chicha, and more at SXSW, Viva Big Bend, Houston’s Cumbia Caravan, San Antonio’s Noche Cumbiambera and is the resident house band for Hotel Vegas Cumbia Night.
