Matt Castillo grew up in Edinburg, Texas, surrounded by country music, which influenced his passion for the genre from a young age. After overcoming academic challenges, he honed his skills as a guitarist and singer, eventually forming Matt and The Herdsmen before pursuing a solo career that has seen him release four albums and perform over 125 shows annually.
