The creative force behind The Take ATX is Greg Thelen, who has contributed lead guitar and vocals to multiple bands in the Austin, Texas area. He formed the original line-up of The Take in the 80’s, and their single, “Tonight,” reached #3 on the Austin Chronicle’s Best Texas 45s List in 1982. Greg has returned with The Take ATX and the “meet repeat” EP in 2025.
