Peter Case, born in Buffalo, New York in 1954, grew up surrounded by music and began playing guitar at age 11. He formed bands like The Nerves and Plimsouls, blending rock 'n' roll with R&B and folk influences. His debut solo album, "Sings Like Hell," was critically acclaimed and influenced the Americana genre. Case continued to tour and release albums until his final record in 2015.
