Tim and the Turmoil was formed in 2024 by band veterans from Austin, inspired by the straight-ahead rock and roll of the 1980s and 1990s - crunchy guitars, propulsive bass, heavy drums. When "alternative" didn't mean wimpy. When rock music rocked.
With our debut album (Makeshift Memorials) in the can, we're ready for bigger, bolder, louder things. We hope you'll join us on the journey.
Our Lineup:
Tim Wilkins (The Leisure Class, Louder Shrine) - lead vocals, guitar
Brian Ellison (Steers, The Great Curve) - drums
Jason Krohmer (Red McFunk) - bass, vocals
Jeff Garrard (Lucky Velour, Mudbone Hustler) - lead guitar
Makeshift Memorials, our first album, was released on all streaming platforms in June of 2024. The album was produced and recorded by Matt Parmenter at Austin's Ice Cream Factory Studio. Check it out!
