This channel is devoted to creative music. Jesus has blessed me with a long career and many opportunities. Everything I am I owe to Him. I grew up in Denver, Colorado, studied guitar with Jim Atkins and playing everywhere I could. I have lived in Nova Scotia, Montreal, Bowling Green Ohio and Denton, Texas. I taught jazz guitar, bass, improvisation and rhythm section master class at the University of North Texas for many years. I performed and taught at the Jamey Aebersold Summer Jazz Workshops. There are quite a few recordings I have made with a variety of artists available on Origin Records, Summit Records, Capri and UNT Jazz. Mel Bay and Alfred have published several of my educational books and recordings. I endorse D'Addario Strings for guitar and bass.
I hope you find the channel encouraging, challenging and inspiring.
Grace and Peace to You.
Fred
